He said that Trump turned away un accompanied children.
President Trump had a deal with Mexico for illegal aliens to stay in Mexico and apply for asylum. Unaccompanied minors were returned to their home country, unless including if their home country was Mexico.
He also invoked Emergency powers until Title 42 to close the border during the Pandemic.
JoeBama revoked both of those on "Day One" with Executive Orders.

Predictable - turns out there was no Tab in JoeBama's binder for how to answer a question from Ducey.

They knew the questions - the answers were in the huge book he had on his podium.
No President in history has brought such a Book of Answers to a Press Conference.

His reply was perhaps the strangest one of the day. He said "I'll tell you what I'm going to do", and then started talking about infrastructure. Roads, bridges, even school heating and ventilation. I remember wondering what that had to do with the recent shootings, guns in general, and what Biden would do about them. And the "reporter" did not follow up at all, which was almost as strange.
That was certainly strange - he clearly didn't want to talk about Guns, so he rambled. I thought the strangest reply was when he claimed he came to Congress 120 years ago.
What's funny is that all of the naysayers on this thread are just nit picking. Nothing on the issues. What are the biggest issues today?
#1 The pandemic. No one denies that Biden has been very successful thus far.
President Trump's action and plan got us the vaccines!

Less that 10% of the demoncratic stimulus bill paid for checks or COVID related items. The rest was nothing but pork crap!

Partially true. President Trump stopped the surge and had Mexico turn them around before they reached the border
Was Cecilia Varga the reporter he laughed at? I can't force myself to re-watch the fiasco to find out!
Regardless, when he laughed at whoever it was that was so Presidential!
Yes, it was Cecilia Vega. Kristen Welker (NBC) asked a few good questions also (she was a Debate Moderator in 2020. She pushed hard on Transparency and got NOTHING for her trouble.
The PBS reporter was a total embarrassment to Journalism and those "reporters" who were actively asking for Biden to toss the Filibuster showed they were Leftist Activists and not Journalists.
JoeBama plainly said the Filibuster in Racist (relic of Jim Crow) and it has been used too much - he neglected to mention that it is ONLY the Democrats that have used it for the past 5 years (even against Senator Tim Scott a Black Senator) - Never once used against him by Republicans. He pretty much said that even the Republicans agree with his policy/agenda - OR - he will go it alone and shove everything through.
I particularly like the part where he gushed about his 2 hour talk with his Communist Chinese buddy Xi.
Autocracy (Xi & Putin) vs Democracy (what we used to have in the USA).
He said that Trump dismantled the infrastructure used to manage immigrants
'Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas described the massive effort his department is undertaking to rebuild a system that was “gutted” by a Trump administration that opposed the very idea of immigration.'
This was an embarrassing performance by someone who has no business pretending to be the President. He should be picking out the afternoon jello flavor and watching Golden Girls reruns. I’m sure China and Russia are please he’s there though.
