I don't think anyone disagrees that he had been saying he couldn't breathe the whole time.
Even before Chauvin rested his weight on Floyd's neck/shoulder.
The question remains; was that murderous intent, or at least extremely careless, to put his weight on the neck and back of someone who is stating they can't breathe?
If saw someone complaining over and over they couldn't breathe, would you suggest putting your body weight on their neck?
If they were a known violent felon who will do and say anything to be released and then fight you again then possibly.
Yes when he said that he was claustrophobic. Claustrophobia can cause a panic attack which can make it hard to breathe. Many things can cause one to have difficulty breathing. Severe allergy attacks, panic attacks, laying prone with someone kneeling on your back.
This is the thing Chenping, the jury needs to decide if the police officers' actions were objectively reasonable in light of the totality of the facts & circumstances.
What do you say?
What the jury needs to do is to be cognizant of the police officer's action in "taking the bullet" for us when dealing with violence in the street. The reasonable officer - placing himself in harm's way to protect us from felons - deserves the consideration of a reasonable jury.
And now the POTUS has came out and said “he’s praying for the right verdict” and “the evidence is overwhelming”.
Isn’t this the exact thing the judge was saying politicians shouldn’t be doing — getting involved in the judicial system?
With this case becoming a national political matter for a year — I don’t see any way for the defendant to get a fair trial.
Biden said ..he’s Guilty, according to the Daily Mail , didn’t say guilty of what though , he’ says he’s been following the trial , good excuse to sit and watch tv all day , probably catches up on his soaps while the jury’s out for lunch .
Place him on his side, get off him, and call for paramedics.
Does it look to you like this man is NOT in severe physical/emotional distress?
At the VERY least, get off him. He's not going anywhere, cuffed and facedown.
Ems was called. Why did Floyd have no responsibility to stop fighting. he was hysterical due to being a criminal trying to work the system and high as heck on lethal drugs.
I don't believe you because if you had you would realize that people who are pulseless don't thrash around, which is what Floyd was doing. Ems was on the way so the police didn't need to be working on a guy who was a known felon with a history of armed robbery and violent resistance, additionally there was a crowd and became a mob that were becoming increasingly aggressive. Their job was to stay alive.
Well isn't this ^ convincing. Did you contact Chauvin's defense team to give them this gem of evidence?
Just curious, how long do you think the brain can live without oxygen?
