no matter the outcome today. he's getting off. Maxine assured that, this bad judge assured it by not sequestering the jury.

And did you know that Biden made a public statement as well ?

That judge said Maxine only voiced her "opinion", not a call to protest and violence.

They would be too scared to find him not guilty.

I don’t see how anyone can argue he isn’t guilty of manslaughter. Murder 2 will be overturned for sure on a retrial. I expect riots anyway because I’m sure there’s morons who don’t even realize murder one wasn’t even on the table but will riot over the fact he wasn’t convicted of it

No chance. They’ve been deliberating for what, 8 or 9 hours total?

why they should have been sequestered. If they wanted to find him guilty then ok. but when they are threatened you give it too many chances on appeal.

Chauvin should have gotten off when Floyd became unresponsive. That's it. There's more than enough reason to establish that Floyd's bad heart, Covid-19 and taking Fentanyl and Meth were the leading causes of his death. But there's room to say that perhaps without Chauvin kneeling, Floyd would have lived. So I'm 70/30 because if the jury convicts him on manslaughter, I can at least see how they got there.

It makes very little difference at this point. The news media, the politicians and the rioters have tainted this trial beyond all possible expectation of legitimacy. If the jury rules "not guilty on all charges" then he'll go free and Minneapolis will get the hellscape they repeatedly voted for. If they find him guilty on even one charge, the case will be appealed and there's a very good chance that the higher courts cut Chauvin loose over this ludicrous display.

The judge already admitted that Maxine pretty much opened the door to that.
