What do you think is more likely, knowing someone whose kids have autism or knowing someone who has died of covid?

Hands down autism. I know 4 people with autistic children. I still have yet to hear about anyone I know (or any of their family for that matter) that has had COVID, much less died from it.

The count of ASD in the USA is much higher: ~5 million, so the answer (for now) is autism. I hope it stays that way.

The cost to treat a kid with autism: $17,000 per year.
