Mehh.. Trump was a failure at vaccine distribution but he got the ball rolling to begin it (Which is tougher when you getting hit heavy with the virus and trying to figure out what the hell it is) . Biden just picked up where he left off. I think we're giving Biden a little too much credit. LOL.
If we got hit with a new plague tomorrow the Biden admin would be going apecrap too trying to figure out what the hell was going on. It was MUCH tougher than be Trump's shoes than Biden's basically.

1 - Read the constitution - the only thing Trump was allowed constitutionally to do was give the governors face masks.
2 - Dr. Fauci, Dr. Brix, and the Surgeon General not going on every media outlet and social platform telling people the flu is worse, to go about with your daily life, and not to wear masks so don’t go buying them would have helped more than Trump wearing a mask.
3 - The CDC messed up their tests, there were no tests to give people.
4 - California has been locked down tighter than a drum. Florida has been as open as a canyon. The two states have similar stats, despite Florida having a significantly more vulnerable population.
Know what we could have done to prevent having so such Covid death numbers? Use the same criteria for calling something a Covid death as most other countries in the world. Know how we could have significantly lowered the number of Covid cases we had? Made sure the instruments used in the PCR testing had the proper threshold cycling calibration.

Not just Trump......... The democrats weaponized the COVID to hurt Trumps re-election chances. Fact.
How New York City handled it is a text book example of what not to do. They allowed buses to travel in and out of the city. Very slow to take any reasonable action.
The Dems condemned Trumps attempt to stop air travel from China. He should have stopped it from all known hot spots. In short the Fed Failed, States failed, and the American people were unwilling to sacrifice at all even for they own safety.
The CDC, our 6 billion a year diesel fighting operation, completely choked. Not a little, not kind of, completely.
Trump did a poor job, but do did everyone around him including the CDC. States and cities had the power to do much better and chose for what ever reasons to do as little as possible.
Fortunately I live in a place that took the COVID seriously and they locked down quickly, and imposed travel restrictions. So far 92 total covid related deaths, to date compared to the USA's 545,000.......

California's strict lockdowns backfired in the end. If Newsom had allowed hard working business owners to open up with safety precautions rather than punishing them while giving the BLM "protests" a total free pass, he might not have had to face the recall right now.
