That is indeed the slogan, though the other poster acted like they didn’t know.
And you are spot on. Austin isn’t Austin anymore, it’s a left coast town with hardly anything to do with Texas culture or history as the leftist out of state crazies pushed locals out. The slogan is outdated, and most of the original hippies were forced out by the left coast swarm, or moved further and further out.

Austin is Hispanic dominant, you know one of those minority groups that the liberal left love so much. So I'm not understanding what they mean that the city is too masculine for them.

we loved the live music available in austin...one of the reasons we moved here. we used to pay for live concerts in austin at least twice a month. we quit paying to see any musician a few years ago when they, without exception, made listening to their personal political views mandatory in order to hear them perform.

I loved Austin when I first moved there but drastic changes happened with the dot com bust as people from California took their money and fled to Austin for the tech.
At one point we were joking at work that there were more CA license plates on the streets than TX plates.
