Excerpt: it's easier to hate a country that has a white majority and later plurality than it is to hate a non-white country.
Response: Opinion
The white population is the global minority in terms of numbers. 800 million.
Most Africa,China ,India are homogeneous with populations in the billions per
race mostly subsiding in their country of origin.
Can you blame homogeneous white countries like Russia or Poland wishing to remain
homogeneous like Africa or China or India ?
The United States is a scientific lab experiment.
A new race of people will emerge. A multiracial society
is being set in motion. In approximately 100 years the
experiment will have concluded.
Let us hope that the United States is the greatest example of
how people can come together to inspire and enrich the world.
Wouldn't Brazil already fit this demographic description. The United States will resemble Brazil in 30 or 40 years , but with more Asians. We are morphing into another Latin American nation and our economy and quality of life will follow.
China is facing a massive demographic crash beginning soon. It's population of 1.3 billion or so is projected by some to fall somewhere between 600 and 700 million by the year 2100. In 20 years or so they will need all their resources to starve off a demographic and economic collapse.
It is well-known that other countries have long had a love-hate relationship toward Americans. The hate part was part jealousy, and due in part because American tourists tended to be arrogant and rude. Who knows what will happen in thirty years, but there is a good chance that the US will no longer be top dog. If that happens, anti-Americanism might be replaced by anti-Chinese-ism or anti-Indian-ism.
Nope, the Chinese are very nationalistic so they won't be moving here in droves. In case you haven't noticed it's Latinos that are moving here in droves and they will virtually transform our demographics, culture and language along with their third world ways. I'm glad I will be dead before I see this come to full fruition. We'll just become a another Latino country and all of it's problems. I fear for my grandkid's futures though.
Not sure if we can do the same for China. Japan was basically an American protectorate, which we helped build up after WWII to keep it dependent on American trade, anchored to "The West" during the Cold War. China is a hostile nation with global ambitions.
Nope, the Chinese are very nationalistic so they won't be moving here in droves.
Foreign countries don't teach English in schools because they want their citizens to move to the United States. They teach English because it is the language of international business. Imagine if India didn't speak English, who would answer my tech-support calls? Imagine if third-world countries didn't speak English, they would get a lot less tourism and investment.
I think many people tend to label changes that they are uncomfortable with as "Anti-Americanism".
It depends on the changes. Do these changes unify us or divide us? Are these changes good for the American people as a whole or do they only benefit certain groups? Things to ponder.
