I have mixed feelings about this. I like Gaetz a lot and I love how blunt he is. He can be TOO aggressive sometimes but he's got some great ideas. I literally just got his book "Firebrand" in the mail today. I guess time will tell in terms of what he's going to do.

I think he'd be better suited for Fox than Newsmax. He's a regular guest on Hannity and Carlson and he's already been told taking the offer from Newsmax can blackball him from Fox and it might even hurt the fan base he's trying to build. Whatever he decides to do I wish him the best.
Gaetz never met the basic intellectual standard for Congress anyway, he was just a bomb thrower. Now that the bomb thrower in chief has been dethroned and we are back to basic competence in governance, I bet the job rings hollow to him now.
Maybe it has something to do with the sex trafficking investigation by the DOJ. Can’t be fun to be investigated for having a sexual relationship with a 17 year old and traveling over state lines.
