Asian parents are more likely to want schools reopened than white parents, so why do woke union teachers keep thrusting this solely into the white camp.

P.S. science says schools are fairly safe to reopen with simple protocols.

P.P.S. studies say black students are hurting the most academically during school closures. Real white supremacists would want schools to remain closed.

So, unless we want to concede that racists of the 1960s were correct about blacks, we have to continue down the road of blaming whites for black failure, regardless of where it takes us.
I learned a long time ago that making excuses for failures only invites more failures. My son came from Chicago and a very broken family. He unlike his cousins has a very good job, owns his own side business and is doing very well for himself. He also has no criminal record, never joined a gang and never got involved with drugs. Unlike his cousins.

Their excuse is the standard "White man is holding us down." "It isn't our fault, blacks cant get good jobs." etc. etc. etc. We aint Uncle Toms. They actually accused him of being an Uncle Tom to explain why he isn't a loser. LOL

I never allowed my son to wallow in self pity, make excuses for failing or to blame anyone but himself for poor decisions. People in the real world cant go into work late and blame anyone but themselves for it. People in the real world don't get to act the fool at work and keep their jobs. Most jobs have some kind of a dress code. Like my parents I didnt allow a whole lot of slang language in my home. Speak English or Ill pretend I dont understand you.

I expected decent grades. Like my boy I was never into book study and prayed that I could hold a C average in the courses I didnt like, Algebra for example. My son learned to hold himself to a higher standard and to be his own worst critic. Most Successful people are their own worst credit. Most losers that I have met, always have an excuse and it is always someone else's fault.

If blacks are failing as a group it is because we have taught them to allow themselves to fail, by blaming anyone but them for when they come up short.

Look at the military. If blacks were genetically inclined to fail then why dont they fail in the military at a higher rate than anyone else? In the military you dont get to blame the other guy for you being a screw up. You have to tighten up and toe the line.

In contrast, socioeconomic factors could not be linked in a major way to variance in high school grade point averages. Socioeconomic factors, including race and ethnicity, accounted for 7 percent of the variance in GPAs in 1994 and 8 percent in 2011.

The black-white test score gap does not appear to be an inevitable fact of nature. It is true that the gap shrinks only a little when black and white children attend the same schools. It is also true that the gap shrinks only a little when black and white families have the same amount of schooling, the same income, and the same wealth.

Yes.

I see so much talent and ability wasted with black students. The left pushes a culture of victimhood: no self-accountability, blame others, lower standards because racists and systemic racism, etc. It must be a very miserable life thinking the world is out to get you so why try hard?

Woke leftism is a cancer.

It certainly is. I think back to when participation trophies became the norm. No keeping scores, no winners no losers, nonsense. How did that mentality prepare anyone for the real world? Outcome based education!!!!! Jesus wept, that was a stupid idea.

Parents need to get together and remove these school boards and woke teachers. Forcibly if necessary.

This teacher keeps calling the parents "white supremacists". They say they aren't.

And how does the teacher KNOW they are "white supremacists"?

Why, because they ARE white supremacists! And so is "the system" they came from!

Yes, that's all the "evidence" this person needs. To accuse, try, prove, and sentence the parents of being "white supremacists".

Hint: It's also the sum total of the "evidence" the entire "woke" culture has to accuse the entire country of being the same. They are white supremacists because everybody SAYS they are!

No need to point out what they have done that reveals this mysterious "supremacism". No need to come up with actual statements they made, or even thoughts they supposedly thought. Given the present shortage of mind-readers among us, that lack may be understandable. But it is no more "proof" than all the rest of their hysterical vaporings.

If you've been wondering what the "woke" refers to in today's culture, here you have it. "Woke" means I have managed to persuade myself, with no particular evidence or proof, that you are bad, and you don't deserve the respect or effort to prove it, or to let you prove otherwise.

This is the core of "wokeness": You are guilty because I say so. I don't need to support my accusation, I certainly don't have to prove it. I don't even have to be right. You're guilty simply because we say so. You don't get a reprieve. End of story.
