Didn’t mean it like that, it’s something that we aspire to achieve, like the right in pursuing happiness. We have a right to education, but still need to make a effort to learn.

As it stands, there is no systemic fraud, there's no evidence of illegitimate votes being cast. Requiring ID to vote is a solution looking for a problem.
There are an estimated 33 million illegals in the US. I'm guessing most don't have ID either. If a poor American doesn't need an ID but can still vote so can someone here illegally.

Yep, they think boxes of fruit loops are grown in these folk's gardens. They still have to drive into town, somehow, to get food, clothes, fuel or other goods and services.

Everything costs money. If they can afford rent, a cell phone, and internet, they can afford an ID.

How do these people sign a lease or rent a car? How do they book a hotel or cash a check? How do the board a flight?

You're not even a real citizen without ID, voting is the least of your worries. The only people who don't need ID are criminals, so the cops don't know who they are.

If anything you are showing your ignorance by not trying to understand the lifestyle and mindset of people who live in urban areas.
So basically people in urban areas don’t need or want to or have to go to airports for travel, order Ubers, pick up prescriptions, pick up packages, go to a hospital, give blood, visit a federal building, go to a bank, go to the SS office, purchase alcohol, purchase cigarettes, purchase lottery tickets, write checks, collect unemployment, go to public schools, have jobs, etc.?

Because currently it's very easy to vote several times (under an assumed name)
i remember reading facebook posts from people discussing polling locations nearest to state lines so they could vote in several states before the polls closed.

How else could Obamas first AND second terms have had in excess of 120% of total ballots cast ?

I live in MI and just looked up the cost to get a state ID. It's $10 for under 65 and free for over 65. The fee will also be waived for veterans, homeless, people receiving state aid, and a few other circumstances.

This argument that requiring ID turns voting into a "pay to play" scheme is ridiculous.

Very poor excuse not to have $$$ for a photo ID in your pocket, when you have $$$ for the latest most expensive IPHONE in your pocket instead.
