Whiteness Is a Pandemic
"White Supremacy" is not racist against whites, for the whites themselves say they're kooks, to say the very least. So most whites are NOT white supremacists. Therefore that label doesn't castigate all whites.

By contrast "China Virus", especially coupled with "Kung Flu", IS disparaging to Chinese Americans (and Asian Americans in general). That is what makes "China Virus" derogatory.

Well they dont live in top of each other. Crimes of opportunity are just that, if the nearest person that doesnt look like you is 50 miles away, you are telling a lost chinese dude walking through a bad trailer park is not gonna get eaten? Same as if he was strolling through goverment housing, its opportunistic.
This black dude was on parole for killing his mother, he is not the typical human.

Remember when the the WHO Director General said calling it the China Virus was more dangerous than the virus itself...

If people complain about this, I think it is because the term is used as a slur. Just because you have never experienced this, does not mean it has not happened to people.

There is a correct name for the virus. Why not use the correct name?

IMO, it worse to call covid19, the “China flu.” Doing so characterizes it as foreign and just a flu, thereby minimizing it.

Some people have reported being publicly berated for their ethnicity as if they were somehow responsible for the pandemic. I think they are easy scapegoats for some hostile people.
