Keep in mind that when leftist do-gooders say they want only a few more "reasonable restrictions" on guns, it's because the restrictions they imposed last year didn't work. Crime and mass shootings continue merrily along, and even increase. And so now they want to impose a few more regulations and restrictions. And when those don't work, next year a few more. The only scheme that does work, is complete confiscation of all of the people's guns, followed by regular house-to-house searches.

And that's exactly what they are gradually working their way up to, one small piece at a time. Actually only total confiscation and repeated nationwide sweeps of homes, have any chance of actually working.... at the price of leaving the majority of the populace completely vulnerable to the predations of criminals. Amazingly, the gun-control pushers are actually trying to fool people into believing that it's an acceptable government option.

So-called "gun control" laws are only obeyed by the law-abiding. And they aren't the ones causing the problem.

Back when Kamala was running for President, she said that if Congress won't restrict guns the way she wants, if she were President she'd do it herself by Executive Order. Do you suppose she's changed her mind in any significant way?

I suppose then we don't need laws against murder or child abuse since the only ones who are going to obey them are those who don't murder or abuse their children.

Old, tired cliched response. We have over 20,000 gun laws on the books. How about start with following up on straw purchases?

Meanwhile, here's how civilized, sane countries deal with these military-style semiautomatic mass-killing machines...

Maybe we can start by restricting the govt from banning or restricting guns? That would be very reasonable.

They need to protect their terrorist, rioting supporters. They're the party of protecting criminals and punishing good people.

Biden already said Beto will be his man on gun policy and Beto proposed using the military to disarm Americans. Biden's gun control plan is a confiscation plan. He wants to force owners of popular firearms to register every gun and mag under the NFA (at $200 per registration) or be forced to surrender them if they can't afford it. Things will not go as the democrats seem to think they will. This isn't 1994 anymore. They're going to start a civil war if they try it.
