Two capitol police have been injured. Apparently a vehicle deliberately ran into them, along with a barrier. All three people were taken to the hospital. I assume the driver was shot.

Odds are very remote that this was an accident. Little doubt that it was another soldier of the "patriot movement". Capitol Police are reporting that they rammed the barrier.
This is NOT a thread about Trump. Your post will be deleted, no matter what else it says, if you try to hijack the thread to make it about him in any way. The same rules apply to BLM.

I recall in around 2014 someone ran their car into the capitol building and was shot and killed by police. People were later angry because it was a mentally ill black woman who had been shot and killed.

I guess we'll see what happens here.
Yep.
People are bonkers - and this isn't the first (or last) time someone crashed their car around the WH/Capitol.
My guess is that it's a random crazy person - but Pelosi will use this to extend the National Guard in DC indefinitely.
ETA: they're saying it's a lone wolf.
