Manfred probably didn't have a choice. I don't like him either. But word was a lot of players were going to opt out of the game & then you'd be in big trouble when you can't even fill a team.
Pity, Kemp did not have the courage to be outraged enough to issue this type of condemnation when President Donald Trump attacked America with his BIG Lie and tried to extort the Governor of Georgia to break the law, steal votes and cancel democracy to keep Republicans in power.
Shame on Governor Kemp and the entire Georgia GOP Legislature. In the words of Maya Angelou: "When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time".
Kemp probably thought he had “fixed” things well enough when he was SoS and running against Abrams. All the purges, etc. and GA still went blue last election.
