WRONG. "Woke" had everything to do with declining ratings of sporting events. The NBA commissioner said so and it's why they got rid of it.

Stop being so ignorant.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver made an appearance on NBA Countdown earlier this week to talk about the social justice messages that the league has on their basketball courts, as well as on players’ jerseys.
Silver says these messages will be “largely left off the floor” next season.

Turns out, boycotts do work after all.

Imagine that, using millionaire athletes to alienate your audience backfired. What a surprise.

There are plenty of people close to MLB that indicated players would not participate, the game was months away and Manfred didn't make this decision in a vacuum. You could see the response by Tennis, basketball even the NHL over George Floyd why would you think this would be different.

You’re still speculating and assuming. No players, coaches, managers said they would boycott or it would’ve been plastered all over the media. Again, please post links/facts should you find any.

Bingo

People obviously got tired of listening to LeClown, also. He really should just “shut up and dribble”, although it’s funny how he thinks he thinks his words are significant beyond basketball.

Indeed. Just shutup and dripple, conduct you politics on your own time, not on the NBA's time. Stop trying to politicize a sporting event.

Lebum is on track to be ANOTHER black billionaire, with the help of whites buying his products, and he's the spokesperson of oppression? GTFO. Lebum would be flipping burgers if he was born in any other country.

Good job on Adam Silver on ending that "woke" campaign before the NBA finds itself bankrupt.
