Well, Covid-19 something to do with the low viewership. Baseball in 2020 wasn't baseball as many wanted to see. And "woke" had nothing to do with it.
WRONG. "Woke" had everything to do with declining ratings of sporting events. The NBA commissioner said so and it's why they got rid of it.

There are plenty of people close to MLB that indicated players would not participate, the game was months away and Manfred didn't make this decision in a vacuum. You could see the response by Tennis, basketball even the NHL over George Floyd why would you think this would be different.
