Yeah, it's getting attention now because it's Asians being attacked and being spun as due to Trump for political value.
They are having a hard time walking away from it now without looking like they never really cared that much.
We both know that these scumbags, if not attacking an asian are likely attacking other minorities and will be doing so long after the media stops paying attention.
Just like what will happen to BLM this year...their political usefulness has ended, people and the media will move on.
This is what I know. There has been some anti-Asian sentiment going on. Some of it is anger from Covid-19, and some do want to take it out on Asians, regardless of where they come from. I also know there are anti-Asian attacks coming from other minorities. It's nothing new either.
It happened in Jersey City back in the 1980s. Look up "dot busters". Some of the persons involved in the Anti-Indian attacks were Hispanics.
There has also been some racial tension between Blacks and Koreans. And not just in California. The NYC area too. And it's been going on for decades. Some are using this for political value. Some people are using this to justify their own racial hatred. And for me, some of this is just embarrassing.
Zero sympathy for anyone who gets attacked in the Bronx.
If you are a Democrat and live in the Bronx, you got what you deserved
If you are a Republican and live in the Bronx, you are stupid and should’ve left many years ago.
Some common Sense Logic right here...

Actually, NYC is very safe when compared to other cities. In a per capita ranking of the largest 100 cities, NYC ranks 60th in violent crime behind such stalwarts as St. Louis, Detroit, and Baltimore which rank 1, 2 and 3.

i'm sure the victim will find that very consoling.
