There is no limit. When only one side of the political divide is allowed to have an opinion and that side is a bunch of Puritanical morality nazis, their demands and definitions of purity will spiral indefinitely.
This sounds like the the old game Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon. The object is to take an actor, living or dead, and trace them back to Kevin Bacon in six jumps or fewer. It works almost every single time.
The new game is the Six Degrees of Racism. You take anything, a tree, a rock, your sofa, and tie it to racism in six steps or fewer. It proves how stupid and ridiculous this whole "racism" narrative really is.
Everything in the world is not racist, and only the lunatics on the left would have you think it is. The world laughs at this country now because we have turned soft and the whole dog and pony show is now run by a bunch of fruitcakes.
