My guess is they are likely scouring every bit of information on these people to see if there is anything they can use as leverage to make the perps create a narrative.

Just a reminder... Paul Manafort wasn't jailed on crimes related to Trump... he was jailed for tax and financial indiscretions that took place about a decade ago. He didn't play along and the suits followed through on their threat.
That's a very true point.
The media does have information that could be valuable to the prosecutors, even if the media doesn't realize the importance of what they have.

The Manafort case is a very good example of the patience of the federal prosecutors. Like I mentioned, those guys are like elephants; they all have very long memories. It's part of their job description.

*the insurgents, rebels & terrorists summoned, assembled, and inflamed--- by the former disgraced president---to storm the Capitol and "take back the country:" insurrectionists

Yep, insurrectionists. Albeit failed, but insurrectionists nonetheless.

You mean, first rioter flips? How charming. Too bad the vermin that were burning America down last summer wouldn't "flip" as well.

So, they can still be charged, yea? It was insurrection right?

I'll wait for all those "insurrectionists" to be charged accordingly (with insurrection)....
