Regarding the underlined - yeas they do - especially the suits in the offices.
My guess is they are likely scouring every bit of information on these people to see if there is anything they can use as leverage to make the perps create a narrative.
Just a reminder... Paul Manafort wasn't jailed on crimes related to Trump... he was jailed for tax and financial indiscretions that took place about a decade ago. He didn't play along and the suits followed through on their threat.
That's a very true point.
The media does have information that could be valuable to the prosecutors, even if the media doesn't realize the importance of what they have.

* the violent mob who attacked the United States Capitol to obstruct the process of our democracy and stop the counting of presidential electoral votes: insurrectionists
*the Trump supporters who caused injury, destruction and death in the house of our democracy in an attempt to overturn the Constitution in an effort to keep Donald Trump in office: insurrectionists.
*the insurgents, rebels & terrorists summoned, assembled, and inflamed--- by the former disgraced president---to storm the Capitol and "take back the country:" insurrectionists
Yep, insurrectionists. Albeit failed, but insurrectionists nonetheless.
