Everify is only as good as what is reported. ID theft of American citizens by illegals is rampant. If they are using stolen information to get jobs than they often get overlooked, like had happened with the illegal who'd killed Mollie Tibbetts. It is not the one size fits all answer that you like to think it is. No one thing is. Using all of the tools, the wall, everify, electronics at the border, etc., is the way to go.
Perhaps being stricter on giving out freebies and putting an end to anchor babies would do the most to stop the vast majority of illegals coming here.

It's not just the fence, it's the national guard around the capital as well 2mares. Just as the wall is only effective with boots on the ground and technology to monitor it. I love the article at the end showing the smugglers dropping those poor kids way to young to be on their own over the fence. Where there's a will, there's a way.
We've all seen the images of people climbing the walls. Seeing those two poor kids dropped like that broke my heart. No child should be treated that way.

While "The Wall" can't stop all illegal immigration it is a critical component....just ask the border patrol! The vast majority of people can't climb the wall! That said, we already have laws on the books to punish employers....both sides choose not to prosecute! While I favor EVerify, I also understand that it is pretty easy to get around!
Solving the issue of illegal immigration takes a multi-pronged approach. One can only conclude that neither side really wants to fix it....they'd rather have an election issue!
