Sorry but that's the plan to do away with all the white privileges like working hard, striving, accomplishing, inventing, excelling....those all go away and we become another version of Venezuela.
The exclusion comes in by not giving someone because they are white an opportunity, such as Aviate, to pass in the first place .
If someone who is not white gets admitted and passes the program it's just as good as someone who is white who gets admitted and passes the program. They're still going to have the majority of candidates be white. If you aren't good enough to make the cut, that's one you.
Airline pilots, entertainment industry, academics, the military, the federal government, corporate America (example, Coca-Cola)....
Affirmative action has been in place for decades, but it still isn’t enough. Blacks and Hispanics are to be hired and promoted over whites and Asians, especially males.
This has been headline news for weeks.
Again, bad examples. They still have to work hard to get to where they are. What I want to know is where is this mythical job where if a person with the right shade of dark can just roll in and take it?
Show me which line of work where the boss just look at the skin color and say, "Good enough. You're hired!"

But what I'm saying who gets admitted and given a chance and who is not is increasingly decided based on their race.
I wouldn't be much opposed to affirmative action if it was presented honestly. It's charity offered to those who can't compete. Whites should be thanked and praised for sacrificing their opportunities, instead they are demonized.

I don't know the OP enough to know what he's talking about.
In the past, the headline would refer to black people. Like, in the last several hundred years.
In the last 20 years, it might apply to whites. Especially in the last year.
This has also been true of women, who, no matter how excellent they were, weren't allowed certain employment or educational opportunities.
But the statement is true. If you're not allowed to be compensated and recognized for your excellence, it's a little hard to get motivated to bust your hump.
So. OP. Are you referring to the north american continent from the 1600's to 1975, or are you referring to last year?
California (1996), Washington (1998), Florida (1999), Michigan (2006), Nebraska (2008), Arizona (2010), New Hampshire (2012), Oklahoma (2012), and Idaho (2020).
If the OP is truly concerned about American mediocrity then please say something we were best at that truly matters?
