How can there be control? There is already more guns than people in the USA? How can a black market be stopped? If cartels can bring in drugs, and coyotes bring in people, they can bring in guns.

We need to figure another solution to mass shootings.

Your whine is duly noted. You also are conveniently ignoring the fact that you and your ilk started blaming Trump for such things before he even took office.

Seems rather foolish to blame a POTUS for a mass shooting.
Yet you had no problem when there were mass shootings during Trump's administration that got blamed on him.

Pure nonsense^^^^^

You know darn well it is up to each state to formulate their own plan for dealing with the virus. If Trump had acted like a dictator and demanded that states do it his way, you and your ilk would have been screaming about that.

How would YOU have gotten everybody in the US to lockdown? It's impossible. We need people to do the essential jobs that involve keeping the infrastructure going, health care, police and fire departments.

Have you ever been the victim of a violent home invasion and had a knife put to your throat? Has a violent intruder ever almost punch your 18 month old child with his fist? Well, I have. I did not own a firearm at the time and I swore that day that if me and my children made it through that home invasion alive, I would never be unarmed and defenseless again. As a mother, I have a right and an obligation to protect my family.

If you take that right away from law abiding citizens, you leave us helpless in protecting our families from the criminals that don't follow the law and will still be armed. My firearms will never be used against another human being unless it's in self defense.

Back to the subject at hand --- This shooting is so very tragic. A family lost several of its members. The family of the shooter is also devastated.

No I won't because I'm a female so it's safe for me to own firearms.

Right, you are women hear you roar. All the violence will end...LOL
There are differences though, for sure. Find answers to your questions and our countries violence will be dropped substantially.

Males were convicted of the vast majority of homicides in the United States, representing 89.5% of the total number of offenders.

Young adult black males had the highest homicide conviction rate compared to offenders in other racial and sex categories.

White females of all ages had the lowest conviction rates of any racial or age groups.

Males were more likely to be murder victims (76.8%).

Females were most likely to be victims of domestic homicides (63.7%) and sex-related homicides (81.7%)

Males were most likely to be victims of drug-related (90.5%) and gang-related homicides (94.6%).

When you don't have the answer to a question, deflect, deflect, deflect.

I know you're aware of the concept of "opportunity". A gun provides opportunity to do the most damage in the shortest amount of time.

That's how.
