The last border surge happened in January- February, 2019. Pence visited the border on 7/13/ 2019- a photo op.
Conversely, Trump scheduled stops near the border in January, February and April to campaign for Cruz. Each time, he iterated Mexico would pay for the wall.
By 12/31/2020, 450 miles of wall had been built. Of this 400 miles was rebuilding where previous wall was erected in 2007- 2011. Apparently the useful life of the wall is 13 years+/-
Only 50 miles of new wall has been erected. And Mexico is not paying for an inch of it.
In June, 2020 Customs and Border Protection disclosed the wall was not achieving goals. People were scaling it and burrowing under and though it.
This crap again????? Mexico is helping to pay for it through tariffs and they agreed when Trump was in office that they'd keep these asylum seekers in Mexico. Did you cry back in 2006 when 700 miles of inferior fencing was built compliments of the taxpayer? Of course you didn't! 1,000 miles of reinforced and new walls were going to be built under Trump and nearly half of it was done regardless of whether they were replacement walls or new walls. So what's your point? They have proven to be 90% effective in deterring illegal entry.

Kamala Harris was tapped two weeks ago to “lead efforts” to stem the crisis on the southern border — but she still has not visited the crossing, nor has she held a press conference.
President Biden named Harris on March 24 to head up the diplomatic effort to reach out to the leaders of Mexico and the Central American countries about the flood of migrants, saying she “speaks for me.” Hahahahaha!

Queens and other royalty generally do not bother themselves with the serf's trivial goings on within the kingdom. There are more important things to do, such as waste tax dollars on nonsense. And then there is the ball in the courtyard tonight. You wouldn't want Queen Harris to miss the ball, would you? She often gets cranky when she doesn't get her way. Serfs might start disappearing or something.
