It's like The Flat Earth Society. The conspiracy theorists will never shut up about this and will never stop believing. It's pretty pathetic to be honest.
Please. None of that makes Trump a "asset" as most would think. Its more of "A useful idiot" that killed half a million of us.
I have yet to see anything that convinces me that Trump specifically worked on their behalf. He was just really bad at the job.
Now...Manafort however? 100% a Russian asset. He gave a Russian spy Trumps internal polling information in 2016. But that doesnt mean Trump was working for them. he was just useful.

So he was a "useful idiot," and not an "asset" when he put Manafort in charge of running his campaign. How about the pardon? Was that "useful idiot," or "asset?"
Roger Stone, his long-time political buddy, communicated with Wikileaks about Russian-hacked DNC emails. Was he a "useful idiot" there as well? What about the pardon?
He handed classified intelligence to Kislyak and Lavrov, in the Oval Office no less. Was this "useful idiot," or "asset?
In the investigation of Russian involvement in our elections, blocked witnesses from testifying. "Useful idiot," or "asset?"
How about all private phone calls and in-person meetings with Putin where he refused to allow any witnesses or records. Would this come under the classification of "useful idiot," or "asset?"
I could go on, but I'm sure you get the drift.
If you are going for "useful idiot," at some point you might as well drop the "useful" part.
