I'm already living a sedentary lifestyle and eating too much junk food. I'm not sure what else I can do to narrow the health-equity gap, unless she wants me to start smoking or something.

That's dishonest. Regardless of differences with respect to various discrete conditions, the data show that overall Hispanics and Asians have LOWER death rates and LONGER life expectancies than whites in this country.
