We know something else. We know that over 575K people in the USA have died from this virus. We know that hundreds of thousands, if not millions of people in the USA have been extremely ill and many have suffered long lasting damage to their lungs and other parts of their body.
No...575k died WITH the virus.
94.6% had underlying conditions and most had 2.6 underlying conditions. 10% were in hospice because they were terminally ill from other diseases and expected to die within 6 months. People killed in a car accident, motorcycle accident, infant drowning were counted as covid deaths because they tested positive after death. That's per the CDC.
If you don't have covid, you are not protecting others from it. Only sick peoole should stay home/wear masks if they have to go out.
You can be infected and have no symptoms at all. Half the spread of the virus is from people who never developed any symptoms or before symptoms appeared.
Are you truly not aware of the extent of asymptomatic spread of this virus?

The 94.6% still died from COVID-19, not their underlying disease.
The accidents and baby (never heard that one before) were death certificates filled out by people who did not have a clue how to do it "per the CDC", which never said to do it that way. Whoever did it was ignorant or stupid or both and was found out. Those certificates were corrected.

The above is complete bs, as indicated by the number of excess deaths. That's per kindergarten math.

There were 328 million people in the us in jan 2019, and 331 million in jan 2020. That's 3 million more people, which could easily offset the number of increased deaths. The number of increased deaths was approx 280k over 2019. Some of those increases can also be attributed to higher suicide, drug overdoses, untreated cancer/heart attack, renal failure, etc due to lockdowns as well as higher murder rates that cities are experiencing.

Do you have actual numbers?
Population growth has nothing to do with causes of death.
The increase in drug overdoses is not enough to account for the excess 2020 deaths. I cannot find numbers for calendar year 2020; the ones I can find include the months for which COVID-19 could not be a contributing factor.
This study attributed about two thirds of excess deaths to COVID-19 during the first four months of the epidemic in the US. That would include a time with fewer deaths from COVID-19 before the number of cases exploded exponentially. It would be interesting to see updated results for twelve months.

As I previously said, unless I had contact with someone or had symptoms (which a number are similar to typical allergies) or randomly decided to get tested, I wouldn't know I had COVID. Many people got infected either by people who had mild cases that were similar to bad flu cases or when a person was pre-symptomatic. These people especially the mild cases that thought it was the flu or allergies acting up, didn't know. Many people didn't report to contact tracers intentionally or forgot people who they had contact with. I mean imagine having to remember which barista took your Starbucks order and you touched a surface or you went to the local supermarket and had to remember which employee helped you get the meat and which one rang you up. And then having to tell the store, try to track down the person before and after you at the counter...

No. The increase was about 18% or so for 2020. Next.
