Please note, there would be nothing wrong with that, it's entirely normal for any smaller non-profit.

I personally doubt there is anything illegal afoot there and will 100% give her the benefit of the doubt as is the case with any such accusation.

The complaints are more along the lines of a self-proclaimed marxist getting rich. The other claims suggesting theft etc. are partisan sniping but you're going to have that no matter what.

I am amused though that we may have a repeat of the Trump situation where some Republican DA starts a fishing expedition of her finances, her family, her business associates and all of BLM....just looking for wrongdoing.

I don't know the full context of the "we're trained Marxists" comment, and I really don't care.

Hypocrites abound in this country. You could create an 80hr/wk job trying to point it all out.

BLM, as far as I can tell isn't meant to address housing/homelessness or even economic inequality, specifically.

Wouldn't Joel Osteen's congregation be much better off if he used his wealth for their betterment, instead of having $13M+ worth of homes in Houston? Sure. The Bible certainly does lots of talking about how the pious should help the less fortunate. Is he somehow obligated to do so? Nope.

Try learning what an activist is, she's a Marxist.
She doesn't have "4 mansions", genius.

Do your homework and then we'll talk. Until then... bye.

Read up on block busting. It destroyed some all white neighborhoods because nobody wanted to live in an integrated neighborhood. One black family and half the block put their houses up for sale, depressing the prices, big time. Smart neighbors knew how to prevent it.

I know of one group of neighbors who were alerted to a black family turning in a contract on a house. Their agent called the listing agent to get an appointment the next morning to submit the contract. The listing agent told her sellers. That house was bought with cash at midnight.

Maybe that's what she's up to.

Wow, so 1 mansion and 3 non-mansions, all in white neighborhoods.

What a woman of the people. A true average Joe. She really pulled those bootstraps.

She has a mansion, fact.

It's more than $1 million, fact.

She has 4 houses that total $3 million in assets, fact.

Those house will continue to increase in value and reach 7 figures, fact.

The definition of "mansion" is a "large house", fact. Her houses meet the criteria, fact.

I'm sorry you hate facts, genius.

Inglewood is a "white neighborhood"? Might want to check your facts, professor.

The racial makeup of Inglewood was 55,449 (50.6%) Hispanics or Latinos (of any race), 48,165 (43.9%) African American, 25,563 (23.3%) White (2.9% Non-Hispanic White)....

"South Los Angeles" - formerly known as South-Central LA - is a "white neighborhood"?

Fact - only one of the homes in question is currently worth "seven figures" despite your earlier hyperbole.

1700sq/ft is a "mansion"?

You just don't know when to quit, do you?

Follow the money, genius.
Quote:
Cullors' co-founders have left, and last summer Cullors assumed leadership of the Black Lives Matter Global Network - the national group that oversees the local chapters of the loosely-arranged movement.
Cullors' move has not been universally welcomed, Politico reported in October.

Local organizers told Politico they saw little or no money and were forced to crowdfund to stay afloat. Some organizers say they were barely able to afford gas or housing.

BLM's Global Network filters its donations through a group called Thousand Currents, Insider reported in June - which made it even more complicated to trace the cash.

How does it feel to fund her house?

Conservatives make points by charging that affirmative action gives jobs or places in academic pro- grams to individuals who do not deserve them. The public receives incompetent service, while better-qualified workers or students are shunted aside. This argument resonated with certain liberals who equate fairness with color blindness and equal opportunity, rather than equal results.

If Oprah or Smith were running around talking about white supremacy and systemic racism they would be hypocrites too.
