If the LT had been Caucasian, none of us would know this ever happened.
IF the LT was Caucasian, he probably would have had a polite officer tap on his window, inform him of why he was pulled over, and asked for license and registration all without the need for weapons drawn.
Why is this news? The driver was being obtuse from the start. Drove a mile to a parking lot then left car running? Does not do a single thing the officers asked him to do. Disgusting that this officer was fired for doing his job.
Equally or maybe more disgusting is how this is being played out by the liberal, leftist, lying, scumbag media. NBC's title is "cops pull guns on Afro-Latino". Completely disingenuous. US media = enemy of a free and civilized society.
Stop it. The cop was out of control, nothing warranted this kind of reaction.

Exactly this.
There was zero need to have guns drawn and the officer should have explained the reason he was pulled over.

You hit the nail on the head...Im surprised they didnt bring in the drug dogs.
“Keep your hands outside the window !†“Exit the car!â€...How will he unbuckle the seatbelt without putting his hands back inside the car ?
“I am afraid to exit the car†Officer replies “You should be†after saying he is fixing to ride the lightning. Ok.
I remember the government militia men, I mean the Las Vegas PD, killed West Point graduate Erik Scott when he couldn’t follow contradictory instructions: “Put your hands up!†“Don’t move your hands†then BLAM BLAM !
I remember they executed Daniel Shaver in Arizona when he couldn’t follow nonsensical instructions: “Get on the ground ! Now cross your fingers ! Now put your hands flat on the ground! Now push yourself up! Stay on the ground! Now cross your legs! Now crawl !†BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM !!!!
I would be afraid too. You should too as it’s not a matter of skin color at this point. It’s the people vs an oppressive armed force.
Maybe a cop explaining this situation will help those of you who don't understand. And with the additional problems with the division - I can see the cops being more careful.

Virginia State Police disagree with youtube celebrity. Mister Gutierrez has been terminated.
They went way too easy on this guy, they should have arrested and charged him for not following commands.
I don't know what's more depressing - that an encounter with the police has turned into a game of "Simon Says" with your life on the line, or that people freaking defend it.

People defend it every time they vote for Mayor, city council etc. in their city.
In many major cities they've kept body cams out, or allow them to be turned off or otherwise tampered with....and then have strong unions to the point where removing them is questionable, especially without solid video evidence which is not destroyed or otherwise covered up etc.
