The bolded is an irrelevant deflection.

Being critical of Trump re 1/6 doesn’t require the critic to be a Democrat.

It's no secret that Trump is an old con man with a history of fraud and failures.

It's no secret that he incited a mob with his stolen election lie, then let them terrorize legislators and staff for hours before sending help.

Nor any secret that Republicans legislators came back in the room, and voted in support of his stolen election lie.

Crazy, eh?

Have Republicans been on the Trump train for so long they figure why change up now?

In for a penny, in for a pound?

Speaking of losers.

The Confederate flag waving in the halls of Congress is an image that is difficult to forget.

They support Trump because they are like him. Anyone who supports a loser who uses profanity and lacks integrity, has character issues.

They know he won't run and should not run but saying it to please him so that dear Lord doesn't scream "that dumb SOB" everywhere he goes! It's really sad but Trump's badmouthing has lot of power it seems and some are scared and don't want to face it

I think that this, more than the fact that they elected him in the first place, shows how tangled and dysfunctional those of that party are. That they are hanging on to him as their only hope, is pathetic. They are already underwater with him. Will they continue to dive deeper? They'll be running out of oxygen soon and how many will have the small vestige of common sense to let go and re-surface?

Hilarious that you think he’s considered “their only hope”, especially since you don’t even know if he’s going to run again...and as far as tangled and dysfunctional, one would be hard pressed to find anyone more dysfunctional than the Clintons, yet Hillary was the pick.
