Quick poll on the vaccine. Curious to see our vaccination rates in relation to the country at large.

If you are inbetween shots probably just vote that you did get it.

Already got Pfizer.

Wife got J and J.

100% fine

Both parents got Pfizer. If anyone asks me I'll easily tell them that I recommend it and to consult their doctors, who are also likely to trust science and not whackos on CD.

Funny how all of the sudden everyone becomes a professional scientist, physician, or biostatistician through googling. I wonder if I can take over your careers and talk down to people who have blue collar jobs after I start finding DIY home improvement videos on YouTube. Who needs apprenticeship training when I got Bob Vila teaching me how to be a better carpenter after a few hours than you + your 20 years on the job?

I got the Johnson and Johnson shot. I had body aches about 8 hours later that lasted for maybe 2 days.

Husband and I know too many otherwise healthy people, ages late 30’s- 70’s that were hospitalized and some did not make it. We also know 2 with what is now called Long Covid. Months after infection and they can’t shake it.

We chose to not play Covid roulette and we both independently vaccinated, due to diff in our ages and eligibility. Pfizer 2 dose. Neither of us had any side effects, not even sore arms.

We both will continue to maintain distance between ourselves and others unless we are certain they have been vaccinated.

Our states requires masks in stores. The Fed has required masks in all Federal buildings as it has all along.

We comply.

Yes. Had 2 Moderna shots. Both caused low grade fever. I've also had Covid, but I got it because I'm active in my church and wish to help out in hospital visitations.

I just got my first shot today (Pfizer). I was worried my appointment might get pushed back with the J&J vaccine paused in Michigan, but all was good.

I got my first from Pfizer on April 9. Slight sore arm that night but was fine the next day.

Yep. My favorite is when some rube decides the vaccines were not in development long enough to be valid, as if they have some expansive biochemistry and vaccine development background that allows them this keen insight on an arbitrary amount of time that is the bare minimum possible.

I got the first Pfizer shot a week ago. Unlike the VAST majority-seriously THOUSANDS of folks getting it at the convention center I went too....I had a reaction.

Sweating and nausea. Literally only me and one other older lady moved into a longer watch section. And..it passed. Sore arm, and mild symptoms for a day...and done. I go back in a couple weeks for the second shot, and im truly looking forward to it. Yeah I can expect it not to be fun for a day, but im soooooooo tired of the pandemic and being self disciplined. Worth it.
