Nope he's a trained EXPERT and he along with some cops I know personally ALL agree that woman should have NEVER been on the force let alone be training someone else! And what stress? One cop had him and she comes in with her STUPIDITY and kills someone
Well maybe it's true. Maybe that woman should not be a cop. But you know who you can blame for that? You can blame all these "let's be equal groups" in America that want X % of employees of so many jobs equally diverse between women & men. This is what happens when you are forced to hire certain people.
And just stop assuming you know what an individual goes through in certain situations. One person dealing with stress with no problem doesn't mean another person is one that gets stressed very quickly. Until you're in a situation like that you have no business assuming you know what it's like.

Most tasers are brightly colored although some aren't. A veteran police officer should know the difference pulling a gun over a taser.
If you were just hanging out, nothing going on, sure most likely that mistake wouldn't be made. It's a different story when you have a potentially life threatening situation playing out with a violent criminal desperately trying to escape.
It's a mistake that you hope never gets made, but they absolutely can and do happen in those situations.

Think about all the police interactions involving a taser coming out in this country in the last 10 years. Thousands and thousands. A mistake like that is going to happen eventually and maybe it just so happened to somebody that wasn't fit for the job OR just somebody making a terrible mistake.
I can maybe see pulling out the gun by accident when you meant to get the taser. But how do you then accidentally shoot the gun into the fleeing suspect. Just seems like a comedy of errors almost. Tragic. It seems like these situations are often the person attempting to flee. Why do they think they'll get away ? I guess it's panic. It's sad but it didn't seem like his life was on the right track. Dad at 20 along with a criminal record. Certainly he didn't deserve to lose his life though.

It's not even the first time it's happened. I can remember off the top of my head another situation of a gun being pulled instead of a taser in Oklahoma. The cop ultimately got convicted of 2nd degree manslaughter. Probably something similar happens here.

The truth is, she admitted to pulling out her gun instead of the taser she intended. They was no life threatening situation. Did Daunte Wright pull out a gun. No. So how was it life threatening.
She has resigned, she will go to jail. Justice will be served.
