Well, its the same logic they used on the masks, first no masks, then 1, then 2 now three.

they just cant make up their minds.

I hate that its taking a lot of people including me to get up the courage to take such an experimental vaccine with reported bad side effects and finally deciding to get a shot and then now they say it might be needed every 6 moths, every 12 months, sheesh.. with all that uncertainly why bother.

We’re business owners locked in their shops?

Stores, big box and small, that sold essentials remained open. What states considered essential was somewhat a variable. Home Depot’s, Lowe’s, Ace Hardware, True Values and the occasional independent remained open.

Construction and home remodeling worked through the worst of it.

Anything related to personal care, dining, hospitality, trade shows, spectator events, tourism, amusements, etc were impacted.

No two states issued the same restrictions. My personal favorites ( not) were the states/ counties/ local governments that limited the number of people at a table and/ or required the business to close no later than xx:00PM, as if the extra at the table was the spreader or Covid only came out after dark.

The term “ lockdown” implies something that did not happen.

They probably won't have much problem with boosters until they have to start paying for them.

THEN they will be pi**ed when the electronic vaccine passports that they previously embraced becomes their enemy.

I'd be fine with a booster every six months, even if laid out for a few days from side effects. I know too many people who have either had Covid or died from it. No thanks.

The term "lockdown" is what Americans have decided to call this avalanche of restrictions and closures. DEAL WITH IT. We do not need you to remind us that in some other places, people were locked in their homes. ENOUGH.

Which is basically what I'd said, the experts do not know. But there are people who are pretending to be experts and are stating as a fact that it will simply be just a once a year booster.

It could be sooner/far sooner than one year and it could be longer than a year, they don't know. Add to that they don't know how effective the current vaccine will be to new strains, so that could mean even more jabs.

I think so. Hopefully they will wake up soon because if these passports are allowed to be put into place, I don’t see them going away.

Just like the Flu shot you'll need a covid shot every year. But it would probably be geared more towards the elderly and frontline healthcare workers.

This is one of the most ignorant, tone-deaf posts I've read from what was otherwise a respected member of this board (at least by me).

Yelp data shows 60% of business closures due to the coronavirus pandemic are now permanent. The vast majority of those small businesses were located in states that implemented the strictest lockdown measures.

All while the public corporations were protected as "essential", if not preferred via certain factions of US leadership that exploited a growing number of people that refuse to accept the inherent risks of life.

Continue to split terminological hairs if you so choose, but I will continue to call out your blatant ignorance while doing so.

LOCKDOWN
