Perhaps garrison soldiers in everyone's homes while we're at it.... or ya know, maybe we don't shred the Constitution
So you are Bobby the great- what does a great man do to help with this problem? Nothing? Maybe you don’t think it’s a problem.

- 2 parent households, something Democrats discourage by subsidizing and rewarding single parent household

- Mental health classes in public school, mentors, and tutors, because Democrats don't seem to want to take care of their kids before they become menaces to society and join gangs

- Ending of all COVID lock downs and travel restrictions, because people have to work for a living and are going crazy with nothing to do.

- Stop and frisk: This was a very successful program that cleaned up the inner city crime.

- Company sponsored therapist or psychiatrist for high stress industries

What are your ideas? Take away their guns?

No one is proposing any amendments, they know their authoritarian bs wouldn't have anywhere near enough support to pass.... that's why they are proposing the same tactics used by 3rd world dictators to stack the court in order to merely rip up the bits of the Constitution that get in the way of their extremist agenda.

It's part of life living in a free country. The vast majority of the problems happen in areas foolish enough to have one party rule that pass counter productive laws. If every Democrat in America fled to Canada tomorrow, Canada would have the murder rate America does now and America would have the murder rate Canada does now.

People are free to be morons (Democrats) thus the problems will always exist. You don't "fix" that by stripping rights from the people.

So punish all gun owners now?

Guess we better take way your car, because people have used it to run people over.

gun violence kills innocents but so do drunk driving accidents. almost as many americans die in drunk driving accidents each year in the usa as are killed by gun violence. driving drunk is illegal, yet people still drive drunk. do you advocate no one be allowed to drive because some americans break the law and drive drunk and kill other americans? https://www.nhtsa.gov/risky-driving/...es%20in%202018.

government can't protect you or me from every danger in life, foodyum. a free society will always have some citizens that break our laws. penalizing law-abiding citizens to stop the lawbreakers makes no sense.

Some of your ideas are good but I know you have argued against many of them in your other posts. Do we give expensive mental health services to all poor people? It costs hundreds of thousands a year to put a child in inpatient psychiatric treatment- it is effective but not affordable. There are mentors and tutors gallore- I know because I am one.

Do we encourage 2 parent households by getting rid of the head of household filing status? How else?

Lockdown is ending soon and we will see if it makes any difference. It may but I don’t think that’s the solution.

Stop and frisk was not successful in nyc. I’m not sure where you are getting the view that it was. Perhaps in another city? Please name that city.

There are company sponsored therapists (separate hotline) at most large companies as well as United ways 311 and suicide prevention hotlines. All health insurance provide mental health hotline number also. Where that has helped, it already exists and we still have a problem.

So to summarize- do nothing. That is your great idea.
