China doesn't need to fire bullets against the Chinese. It's the same people divided by the borders and politicians. Eventually, their ties will be stronger and stronger, and the countries will join.

They have no choice but 'belligerently' answer to American aggression.
The US instigates conflicts inside China and interferes in the intersts of China in their regions (Taiwan, fake stories about Uighurs, etc.). The US with the NATO moved very close to the Russia's borders and still keep moving. Arms Ukraine, sends military instructors and holds joint drills in Ukraine, and instigates Ukraine to fight with Russia under 'plausible pretext' of Russian aggression. Russia has no choice but support Donbass and their peaceful civilians who die daily under Ukrainian artillery fire. Almost every day, Russia spots NATO reconnaissance drones or aircrafts near its borders. Have you seen any Russian reconnaissance aircraft near the US? To sound fair, your question should be - have you noticed the USA became more belligerent in the whole world in the last years?

Trump left office with the US in the weakest position it has been in since before WW2. The military deteriorated, domestic strife increased, a cyber attack was ignored as were bounties placed on our personnel and 500,000 civilians were left dead by an inept administration.

Evil? Governments are not moral entities. They can try to be, but often, they will often do evil things in that pursuit. History shows us this. The USA government is supposed to be small and limited, because the founding fathers understood the nature of man, and government which is run by man.
The USA is a global superpower. For better of worse, we have been the world's police man for awhile now because the world became something of a vacuum after WW2. The world apparently wanted a police man because it allowed the USA to become that police man. If the world has a better way, by all means, go for it.
I highly doubt China or Russia are any less evil, if that's what you want to call it. They simply don't have the means to force their evil on others. China has become something of a pest for it's neighbors like the Philippines. They are stealing resources from the other side of the globe by fishing in foreign waters. They are starting to have the means to do things that people consider evil. It's not like they are some beacon of morality and hope in this world.

The huge difference between the US govt and China (or Russia) is that - the USA govt serves interests of the so called new world order and greedy big corporations, not people of America unlike Russian and Chinese govt that work for prosperity of their people.
The government was never the source of our prosperity. Only the truly naive, inexperienced and brainwashed would believe otherwise. They serve as a mere accessory, riding on the coattails of greatness. That's why they (are supposed to) work for you. A nation's greatest asset is it's people. If the people are no longer great, than the nation will reflect this, and become a crap hole.
I wasn't talking about prosperity. I was talking about America being held together, and not having a Yugoslavia-like situation. We came very close during the Civil War. My point is that America, despite the chasms, racial, social, economic, hasn't collapsed because the federal government is strong enough to make sure of it. And the fact that many people prefer the USA to remain so.
And for me, America pre-1970 would have never been a great place.
China can bring America to its knees within a matter of weeks by simply cutting off the exportation of goods to us. They won't need to fire a single shot.
The People's Republic of China doesn't have to fire a single shot. However, the PRC sees the USA as a potential rival, and possibly would not mind firing a shot.
And consider this. America could easily tell the PRC to take a hike. We could turn to India, which has 1 billion people itself, and a growing tech economy. There are other countries to turn to.
Be prepared for many people to riot over the draft. I'm not saying people should. I'm saying there are many people who are against the draft, and will riot.
