People, even writers for Slate are getting desensitized to covid fear, so we all must follow the bouncing ball to something else to be afraid of. Today it is guns. Tomorrow will be white supremacists. Next month, Islamaphobia. Can't forget about Asian Hate. So many things to fear for. Oh, climate change. Gee, the world is a scary place. Thank goodness we have the media to help us see what to be afraid of.

And I thought the solution to all the fear was to just vote for a democrat? Because the Democrats have so much work to do, and all the work will be perpetual.
