I must inform you that my home state of Kentucky is NOT Democrat. As most people know, the Kentucky state economy is heavily dependent on coal mining and Trump carried the state by a 25.9% margin in the 2020 election. Kentucky somehow voted in a Democrat for its Governor, but the Kentucky House is 75% republican and only 25% Democrat while the Kentucky Senate is 30 Republicans and 8 Democrats. And then there's republican Senator Mitch McConnell who was the US Senate majority leader for the past 4 years and won re-election again this time around. You do know about him, right?
Louisiana also has a sort of a unicorn Democrat for its Governor, but he too is lost in a sea of Red. If Louisiana’s decision to reelect a Democratic governor last year made anyone forget about the state’s political bent, the latest presidential and congressional elections provided a definitive reminder that Louisiana remains strongly conservative and deeply red, particularly in federal races.
President Donald Trump solidly won the state, Republican congressional incumbents easily won reelection, an anti-abortion amendment received overwhelming support.
Republicans RULE in both these states and their Governors cannot do much more than sputter the occasional slogan and on rare occasions at that.
If you wish to blame a state's drug woes on either political party, the republicans who run both these Southern states plead guilty as charged.

You can do better than posting such misleading "information." I'm sure of it.
