A one word answer says otherwise. That denotes a need to dismiss without offering any logical rebuttal. In fact, Fox News is now making the same point I just made.
Waters was encouraging protesters to continue to fight for what they believe in. Her overheated rhetoric could easily be seen by some as an invitation or endorsement for rioting. However, criminalizing such speech would shred the guarantees of free speech in our country.
If Chauvin is convicted, Maxine has just provided grounds for an appeal - that a Congresswoman pressured the jury under threat of violence if they voted to acquit.
the video was many thousands of words.
try viewing it if you dare.
Your video is simply more evidence that Maxine’s comments were not incitement. If anything it shows further that there is a bipartisan standard of “fight” type terminology in political speech that is not regarded by the law as illegal incitement.
The worst part is how some of the White leftists think the riots are justified and Maxine is a noble hero: some of those same leftists who think we could have eliminated Covid with a China-style lockdown for 6 weeks. They think Blacks should always be exempt from all the rules and allowed to riot freely because of "racism" while they Whites stay locked inside for 6 weeks and the cops should arrest a White person who has a social gathering or goes outside without a mask before they arrest Black rioters. As a person of color, I see how those self hating leftists Whites are real causes of the problems, much more so than any minority group.
