Says who? That poster is correct. No one can force you to call a transgendered person by whatever pronoun they would like to be called. If you prefer to be a dick to another human being over something you have no way of understanding then knock yourself out. Kindness is free but being a dick might get you ripped on. There's a whole activist movement out there ready, willing, and oftentimes able to smear people's reputations and ruin their lives and careers if they refuse to lie to themselves and others about objectively observable reality, but YOU'RE the dick if you push back against this obvious power play.

So the real dicks are they ones pushing back against the push back? State your opinion and take the consequence. Its almost as if having an unpopular opinion is new to some people. This actually is one of those cases where a person doesn't even have to form an opinion and could opt to mind their own businesses.

The guy is a scientist and is applying a scientific logic to things which is clearly not appreciated. The parallels to how he is being reacted to by the church of woke is a sad parallel to the evangelicals and whatnot that used to chew on the guy back in the day for daring question their dogma.
I'm pro LGBT in every way except trans men competing against women in sports and find it annoying that people can't separate the fact that just because their brains dictate their identity, it doesn't change their bodies....and even worse, stating stuff like that is viewed as horrible bigotry and not allowed to be spoken without righteous smiting from the woke parishoners.

I don't think that is what is going on. For one thing what he said really didn't make sense if taken at face value and for another thing he said it was being misconstrued.
On a side note Dawkins is also quoted as saying if a woman wants to jail a man she shouldn't get drunk. He has since apologized for that so don't anyone think they need to defend it.
