When a judge, law enforcement officer or politician swears their oath, they’re swearing to protect and defend the Constitution, not the U.S. government and its officers.
Their oath is for preserving the ideas of liberty, not a government.
I was just looking through one of the threads on a patriot group and wow, do people misunderstand that.

So few people uphold the constitution on both sides of the aisle. That it's basically a moot point. I do get what you're saying though. But this hasn't been upheld in quite some time now.
Government is pulling the strings, the Peasants have little to no real say in what
goes on.
Government has injected trillions upon trillions of dollars, directly and indirectly, into the
stock-market, since the "great recession"...........you have any say in that, nope.
...we have reached a point where the caretakers of the constitution are no longer moral, ethical and trustworthy enough to be given that charge....unenforced, it's just a piece of old parchment that means little...
Yep and when the government becomes contrary or in opposition to the Constitution it's everyone's right and duty to get rid of that government, in other words whenever the democrats are in charge .
It's pretty much turned into "keep the mobs happy".
