There was no other possible verdict. The jurors lives were on the line and they knew it. Also Mad Maxine provided the defense a clear path for appeal which gave the jury some leeway to just call him guilty and let the higher courts sort it out.

I think it's a "just say guilty on all of it so the animals don't attack my family" type situation. Given the circumstances, they'd have probably found him guilty of killing Kennedy

He killed Floyd unnecessarily. He deserved what he got.

Need to balance this and not go to any extremes with future policing. Plenty of good police out there.

Who is also partially at fault is the local and state leadership that did not deal with Chauvin in his prior misdeeds.
