Wait, so you're saying we had a TON of covid, but very little flu?

HAHA. How is that possible?

Covid is many times more contagious than flu. We only had one ton of Covid because we wore masks. We easily would have 100 tons of Covid if we didn't.

Imagine not wearing masks with Covid around, it would be the one of the dumbest things to do.

This study is even on the CDC and NIH's website. Why are those idiots not telling people this? Oh cause they would have to admit they have been wrong the entire time.

That's not a study. It's a hypothesis, first published in the journal "Medical Hypotheses", a publication that exists to "publish papers which describe theories, ideas which have a great deal of observational support and some hypotheses where experimental support is yet fragmentary".

ETA: Yeah, what notnamed said.

Science!

R0, pronounced “R naught,” is a mathematical term that indicates how contagious an infectious disease is. It’s also referred to as the reproduction number. As an infection is transmitted to new people, it reproduces itself.

lol, did you read your own posting. this study had 39 people. 39!!
next the study did not try to see if they worked on increasing your protection against the virus, it concentrated on the psychological and physiological effects.

now pretty much everyone is suffering from covid fatigue and the psychological effects of this pandemic. I don't think anyone denies that.

so basically this study told us what??

it offered zero evidence of what you are claiming.

I"ll go back and reread just in case I interpreted it incorrectly

Yet "the media" was supposed to run with this.

Uhhhhh then why were there 38 MILLION cases of the flu in 2019 and NOWHERE EVEN CLOSE to that in 2020 and 2021 with covid?

Are you sure you understand the statistics?

HOLY COW! You've bought what your TV told you hook line and sinker.

EVERY time someone got the sniffles last year it was called "covid"
