Cowards. He was convicted of 2nd degree murder. That means there was intent to kill. BS. Based of what some of these politicians said during deliberations I hope the charges are reversed after appeal. Biden is possibly a bigger jackass than Obama.
Wrong. There did not have to be intent. Look up the definition of second degree murder. You really should research before typing. Unintentional was specified in the charging document.
Typically, second-degree murder is defined as murder that is not premeditated, or murder that is caused by the offender's reckless conduct that displays an obvious lack of concern for human life.
I doubt it will be overturned as the jurors were instructed to not view the news and were sequestered during deliberations.
Meh. In my state most of the populace is armed. If the police go on strike, the thug population will learn that the public isn't nearly as restrained as LEOs are, and that we actually will have justice, not the joke of a "justice" system that we have now. 20 acres and a tractor...who needs a sheriff?

That will not happen. Cops will report to work as they always do. However what will happen is you will have less of a proactive police force in this country. I will always be pro cop. I give the benefit of the doubt to a cop 99.9% of the time. Chauvin took it too far. George Floyd was a perp. He was not a good guy. He was a career criminal. It is what it is.

Bull Crap~
They just won't do much.
They won't actively pursue criminals,...they won't be 'PRO-ACTIVE' in any sense of the word. They'll basically have to catch someone in the act of committing a crime.
Crime will Grow...and citizens will suffer.
Better learn how to take care of yourself; Learn how to fight, shoot and use a knife.

Yeah, no sense living up to the oath you would have taken to uphold the law as the Chauvin jury did, eh?
So Chauvin should have been found not guilty because Floyd killed himself by swallowing and overdosing on his dope? I'd say Chauvin should have taken his knee off Floyd from the very first time he said that he couldn't breathe and let him die totally on his own, and it's doubtful that Chauvin would have been on trial for murder. The cop, no doubt, acted in bad judgment and shouldn't be excused from murder.

Wrong, Dr. Watson. You look it up instead of making things up.
Second Degree Murder:
“Second degree murder is the criminal act of killing another person with intent, but without pre-meditation. In simple terms, a person can face second degree murder charges if he intentionally causes another person to lose his life, with no pre-planning, or without taking an opportunity to put some thought into it.“
