I am not going to say the k word because... it's just stupidity. He could have wore a mask or gotten the vaccine and he likely would have been fine. But no, he literally chose the most absurd ignorant way of living as if Covid doesn't exist. He's the guy who walks across a snake pit and is convinced everything will turn out fine because he talked himself into thinking none of the snakes are real.
This should be a lesson to anyone who refuses to vaccinate. Hey, it's your choice, just don't come crying when Covid gets you.
Rock star Ted Nugent, who once dismissed Covid-19, told fans Monday that he has tested positive for it and "can hardly crawl out of bed"because of aches and pains.
In a video posted to Facebook, Nugent, 72, said he had had "flu symptoms for the last 10 days" and "thought I was dying." "I got a stuffed up head, body aches, oh my god what a pain in the a--. I literally can hardly crawl out of bed, the last few days but I did. I crawled."
Just four months ago, Nugent doubted that the coronavirus even existed, calling it a "scamming pandemic" and vowing not to take any vaccine. "It's not a real pandemic and that's not a real vaccine. I'm sorry, I ain't taking no vaccine," Nugent told fans in a video on Christmas Day.
I find it funny when the Covid deniers get covid. There was a small restaurant in my town, & they defied the "eating in" ban, & opened up despite the rules, they also held rallies to encourage other local business to disobey the mask mandates & take out only. Then he had to close down for two weeks, as he & his family got a "Bad flu" lol
So in your bizarre universe, anyone who isn't wearing a mask 24/7 deserves to die of COVID? What about the people who wear their masks religiously and still get it? Many of the masks that people are using offer little/no protection against COVID. Using a cloth mask to stop COVID is like trying to keep mosquitoes out of your home using chicken wire. They do stop some droplets, which is a benefit to those around you, but it seems everyone agrees that they offer little protection for the person wearing it. The virus is much smaller than the gaps in the fabric.
There are also people who choose not to wear them for medical reasons. They have their reasons, and that's none of our business.
Either way, making fun of others for contracting a virus just seems evil. Do you have any evidence to support your claim that Ted Nugent denied the existence of COVID? I don't know anyone who denied the existence of the virus, except some leader in Africa who contracted the virus and died from it.
At least he owned up to it and spoke out about his experience correcting his prior nonsense.
