And it was a black person who called the police as well. I guess liberals want social workers to de-escalate people carrying knives.
I agree, cops should stop showing up to these areas. If they devolve into Afghanistan, then they’ll finally have no one else to blame.
What makes this more bizarre is how do you attempt to stab people, in broad daylight, in public, in front of police and your parents. That make no sense whatsoever.
I agree, but. The problem is, go back and look at the neighborhood. Beautiful, landscaped homes in the burbs? This didn't occur in an inner city.
It’s a wonder BLM hasn’t stated white people can’t own black vehicles. This movement is a complete joke.
ALL LIVES MATTER
Breaking News.... BLM demands a name change for The White House. Biden and Harris agree that it should be renamed The Multi-Cultural House. CNN reports wide spread white racism from those who disagree .......... well, ya'll get the idea. (Sarcasm)
The media needs to be held accountable for all the misleading info that they invent and spew out on a daily basis.
This stabbing suspect shooting was just another example of it. There is much more information available about the incident but the media still chooses to write the headlines today as if an innocent teen was shot simply for holding a knife.
Lots of people see the headlines and assume that's the whole story. It's why many people respond quickly with a knee jerk reaction. You can bet Lebron James made his first statement based only on some headlines. Later he removed it and said people should wait for the facts. That's exactly what he did NOT do when he quickly posted for his 49 million followers to see.
I saw the story posted again this morning from a major Los Angles news organization.
The headline: "Police shoot, kill Black teenage girl holding a knife in Columbus, Ohio"
They could have just as easily wrote: "Teen shot while attempting to stab another during a fight"
Why do you think they still prefer the first one? I'm sure everyone can figure it out. That one makes it sound like she was just standing there with a knife.
The initial knee jerk reactions to headlines and brief, sometimes very biased stories, are what the media simply doesn't care about anymore. It's all about online clicks and eyeballs. They couldn't care less about the consequences.
I say the police put their hands up and do absolutely nothing until Biden administration declare clear and concise rules of engagement that everyone in the nation can lock in and move forward.
Placing police in no win situations that are impacting their lives is not fair.
Rule of engagement number one I can come up with:
Knife fighting is a normal part of growing up, let the "kids" and "babies" work out their differences. Police should stay out of it.

It is tough to be a cop these days. Think about it, if the cop didn't intervene and the other girl in pink got stabbed, they would still be moaning about the police not helping "because she was black, " No win situation
Thus far, local LE are not releasing more information, When they do, media will report it.
Any additional details are irrelevant to the fact this maniac was within SECONDS of knifing someone. Whether the almost-knifed gal had just finished taunting, harrassing, "bullying" or whatever, the would-be stabber, isn't relevant. The only thing that would justify the knife attack would be self defense against a physical attack from the other, which the vid shows was not the case. Also note she first went after another gal. She was in a blind, red rage. A mental case. No loss to society here.

Very true, because for the media in the present day, there are no consequences. They skate along like it never happened.
All the evidence one needs is the past 4 1/2 years of Russian Hoax, Impeachment nonsense, Russian Bounty Payments , all right on the surface. Dig deeper and it gets worse and worse. “ Unarmed” people getting shot, turns out later they happened to have had a knife. “ Armed insurrection” of the Capitol, and not one arrest for a firearm possession.
And the real slap in the face to American taxpayers is NPR. National Propaganda Radio leads the pack in biased , inaccurate “ news” and are principally concerned with promoting an agenda.
