Vaccine appointments are available to any adult who wants it. Anybody who doesn't get vaccinated and chooses to go out is making that decision for themselves and it's not anyone else's responsibility
Time to open, no more masks.
THE PANDEMIC IS OVER
That's what they said in 1918, then the real death toll became clear
sort of. We have a vaccine, and it looks like were close to the point at which those willing to get it....will have.
We can watch the rest suffer through this until they learn. Yeah the vaccine isnt 100%, but its good enough that I will take the risks just to support these folks right to ignore their health.
Once vaccinated completely I feel folks right to ignore their health is no longer a significant enough risk to me that my opinions on wearing a mask outweigh their opinions on risking their health.
Of course....I also feel seatbelts should be optional.
pretty much. Even here in my blue county, there have been several walk-in vaccination clinics that have been cancelled due to lack of interest. Over 55% of eligible residents have received their first dose already.
I'd ask those on the fence to just hang out a little longer. Not because I expect a policy change - maybe, maybe not - but because data says we can expect a significant change in things in maybe 30 more days or so. Just do your best not to add to the "tested positive" count, and that's it. You add to it by unknowingly giving it to someone else, soooo...
Right now - as has been the case for quite a while - a very small percent of the country is keeping this thing going - keeping the numbers steady - and those are (by definition) the very same people not following the policies.
While many of them will never get the vaccine - they will, nevertheless, be immune (mainly, variants we shall see...) because they're getting infected, instead. Patience - and we'll reach "the herd" - there is no time table for that. Those who say the herd isn't possible because of the anti-vaxxers - are forgetting half of those people were already infected - so their stance does not play a role. They're helping to stop it, whether they know it or not. So THANKS anti-vaxxers for slowing things down - but even you cannot stop it.
This post is right on point!
And, I think that the small percent of the country keeping this thing going are the anti-vax anti-mask go out and do what you want CDers
It prevents you from breathing 100% fresh air and that can cause problems!
That should be peoples top concern over anything else!!
Then DOCTORS AND NURSES AND ALL MEDICAL PRACTITIONERS would all be dying from not breathing "100% fresh air"
I just can't understand how anyone can think like this
