Educate yourself. Or just stop and think for a minute. Do you believe Norfolk has never been sued? That the city isn't prepared for lawsuits like this?
The cop had better take the hit and move on. If he tries to sue Norfolk, he won't win a nickel. But he will be snapped in half financially and be in hock to the city for the rest of his life.

Sort of. That insurance goes up though, its not free. But it does allow them a sense of "who cares I got insurance", and makes it harder for folks to see how much it costs them individually.

The idea of anyone supporting someone so reprehensible is repulsive. This is far beyond politics, it's saying it's ok for some people to choose to hunt other people for sport, if they can come up with a justification that will be accepted by bigots

Before calling people names and making assumptions, you should really know what you’re talking about first. He was shot at and attacked first, and then acted in self defense.
