been following politics for 50 yrs, and i just chuckle when pointing out systemic racism by the left which is not recognized or understood by many on the right is called racism carry on!
There is a great awakening underway. Its every early on, but its there. Trump got 50% more votes from the African-American community in 2020 over 2016, and more and more blacks are speaking out.
Its become blatantly obvious that Dems are using blacks for votes, then forgetting about them the next day. They are tired of being played.
You ar right, 50+ years of brainwashing won't go away overnight, but the tide is turning. School choice might be the #1 factor. ALL American kids deserve a quality education. Selling out our inner city kids to Teachers Unions over money is sickening to me.
We need to have school choice, but only under the condition that all schools under public money are monitored for providing equal protection to all demographics and income levels, adequate resources, integrated services, and teachings that are credible backed by facts and science. We cannot let a jurisdiction for instance teach racial hatred under banner of a private school getting a voucher.
I have a workable solution instead of vouchers: we can ease burden on taxpayers not using public school resources rather than funnel public money to these schools. If you want a commuter magnet school that’s different because it’s public funding by allowing Federal oversight of the curriculum.
School choice advocates want no Fed Govt oversight of teaching materials we can compromise on this :
1) Allow private school tuitions to be tax deductible for Federal individuals income earners that’s fair. It’s an educational expense. But make it deductible not in lieu of the standard deduction but “above the line” so deductible on top any standard deduction.
2) Allow the private schools to be tax exempt on their % of revenues that equals the % of pupils whose families earn below $75K . This will be regardless of tuition payer so if only 50% of families pay tuition and the private school wants to waive tuition for the lower income applicants, they will owe half as much in taxes over the same money that they would take in from before.
3) Allow private schools freedom to set own rules on tuition based on income level so lower income earners can pay a lower tuition to accommodate them. They will not be allowed to charge higher tuition for lower income as this would/should be prohibited by law.

Failed schools for decades leading to uneducated African-Americans which leads to a life of crime, imprisonment, kids w/o Dads, and high abortion rates. Black on Black crime killing Thousands is just an inconvenient by-product to the ruthless racist Dems.
Failed policing by Dems resulting in the killing of African-American criminals in America's inner cities; almost daily it seems. Not a Republican in sight for decades.
Homelessness, drug addiction, & mental illness on full display out in the open, in public places, for kids to see.

What is Block Busting -- First and foremost, blockbusting is a discriminatory and illegal real estate practice. It involves convincing property owners to sell their homes based on the assumption that a new neighbor will change the socio-economic makeup of the neighborhood.
Blockbusting Blockbusting -- occurs when real estate professionals convince homeowners to sell their properties for cheap prices for fear that shifting demographics will cause them to depreciate in value. White flight and blockbusting typically happen simultaneously.
White-flight took with its retail and small businesses too. We CREATED a UNDER-CLASS left and over now generations.
We know how our Northern Legacy cities experienced this in many degrees. Detroit's being the worst.

The Dem spin on all their failures is to blame everyone but themselves, & fuel class & race warfare. I'm not buying it because I lived it, and saw it all paly out several times.
The one example I will use is 'drug addiction'...Obama made this 1000X worse when they cracked down on prescription opioids, this was nothing more than a disguised boost in business to the drug cartels.
What they basically did was outlaw the cartels competition, addicts were getting prescription opioids from pill mills, doctors, ERs, etc, and NOT the corner drug dealer anymore.
Since they restricted access to prescription opioids (which were much safer than cartel opioids), addicts were pushed towards cartel supplied heroin, which was mysteriously readily available at the time these laws went into effect, and the price had been cut way down (temporarily of course).
What obama and the DEA did back then was extremely significant...they used their power and authority to directly benefit foreign criminal organizations!
From now on any application involving a government program, for race I am putting "identify as black" and for gender I am putting "identify as female". This will give me double preferences.
Don't forget to "identify" as old enough to qualify for Social Security and Medicare regardless of how old you actually are, too. If one can "identify" as whatever gender one wishes and that has to be legally recognized and observed, the same applies to race (as you've already noted) AND age, as well.

You are very wrong about redlining. Redlining has absolutely nothing to do with race, and everything to do with financial risk. Lenders (or loan originators) have a fiduciary responsibility to those who eventually end up holding the debt as an asset, whether held by financial institutions or bundled and sold off to investors as MBS, to minimize the risk that loans will default. Why some racial demographic groups default at far greater rates than others is what needs to be explored. A good place to start is the NAEP 12th Grade proficiency levels I posted in another thread. It is well-established fact that a deficient high school education correlates strongly to earning a lower income, and consequently... a higher debt default rate.
