Damned true. I once worked, as an attorney, for a bankruptcy firm (less than a year, 1986 I think), and it was appalling how many people filed due to medical bills.
Plus, didn't President Trump yap about how he was all for pre-existing conditions being covered? Of course, he was lying, but he would frequently say it.
Yes, Trump is wrong on this issue too. Not hard to admit.
why would anyone do that? Even Mexico has universal healthcare. The only folks who could do this are wealthy folks in 3rd world countries....and in most of those they can get better healthcare cheaper.
Literally the only major country without universal healthcare is.....us.
They would be better off going to Canada.

That links states that the US has the highest cancer survival rates. #2 is Canada. That's not the same things as your claim that the US has the best health care. I'd be interested to see the overall survival rates difference between the US and Canada.
Edit: Japan has the highest survival rates for gastrointestinal cancers. They have had universal healthcare since 1961.

True. An easy issue for Trump supporters to disagree with, since he only spoke of it off-hand, and literally no one believed him. He certainly never tried to make it so.
In our country you will be treated, stabilized and given care regardless of whether you have insurance or not in an emergency. Ongoing care is also possible depending upon which state you live in.
