what difference does that make? Chauvin is a murderer, regardless of whether anyone posting here or making public comments would have personally been friends with George Floyd. This is thread is nonsensical.

If someone leads the police on a high speed chase and someone dies, is the cop a murderer?

I think it's pretty clear the victims in these cases have symbolic value, rather than representing some sort of human ideal. They're martyrs for a political cause.
