Policy and corporate exploitation leads to the crisis.
Corporations pay news channels not to mention that. They rely on anti-immigration (legal/illegal) sentiment. They’re the ones that exploit 3rd world countries and hire illegals who escaped the countries bring exploited, but pay news channels to always point finger solely at the people coming to the border.

What does you post have to do with the Biden Administration flooding the United States with the poverty stricken population of Central America when American citizens pay federal taxes so our federal government will “repel invasions” and promote the general welfare of the United States and her citizens?

This was especially true in the last half of the 20th century, due to the post-World War II baby boom and rising immigration in the 1980s and 1990s. But the 2020 census could very well show the smallest decade-long growth rate in America’s history.

Recently released Census Bureau population estimates show that from July 1, 2019 to July 1, 2020, the nation grew by just 0.35%. This is the lowest annual growth rate since at least 1900.

National population growth began to dip after 2000, especially after the Great Recession and, in recent years, due to new immigration restrictions. Yet the 2019-to-2020 rate is well below most growth rates over the past 102 years, and less than half the level observed as recently as 2000."

People really need to learn how to turn a page in the story.

If a country can not birth their citizens, in order to remain viable, they must import their citizens ... I don't know why people have a problem with this, but it is what it is.

The question remains, how does flooding the United States with the poverty stricken, poorly educated, low skilled, diseased, disabled and criminal populations of Central America promote the general welfare of the United States and her citizens, and especially so when our constitution commands our federal government “to repel invasions” and promote the general welfare of the United States and her citizens?

If this nothing --- it will be people's prejudices that will end this country. You're doing nothing more than repeating a politicians talking points, with nothing substantial to back up it up. They do it for votes, what's in it for you to repeat it.
Economically the numbers speak for themselves --- no babies, no population growth, no business growth --- welcome to the age of robotics where u.s. workers will be without work, replaced by a robot; still blaming people who had nothing to do with it, for their demise. btw: when the jobs go, so will the migrants, as well ... the government won't be able to drag 'em in --- in fact where are we today, with more leaving the u.s. than coming in?

While taxpayer funded public housing meant to help our nation’s poor citizens is being filled with Central America’s poverty stricken population LINK; and our nation’s health care system is being over burdened with the healthcare needs of those invading our country LINK; and children of American citizens attending public schools are having activities cut to pay for the needs of the children of those flooding across our border LINK; not to mention that $ billions in U.S. Taxpayer revenue is being handed over in the form of direct payments to those who have flooded across our border LINK; the Biden Administration is allowing this invasion to continue and American Citizens and their children are not only paying the price, American citizens are being made into tax slaves to finance the Biden Administration’s open border policy.

Like they don't have welfare programs in Central America --- you can only apply that argument on people who do not have Internet and/or know nothing about research.

While you muse over your comment, you may want to look into the American Expat --- why do they leave? (low living costs, employment and friendly locals)

Excerpt: Central America’s poverty stricken invasion of southern border draws National Guard

Response: Opinion

In addition, Nightly Newsi now reporting that the South American poverty
is the result of climate change...................Rubbish.

Excuses by the Party that is preparing votes by inviting South Americans
for the next upcoming election because of an accelerated
growth of Baby Boomers; a clear and direct threat to the Left.

Which will be short lived --- Boomer generation 1946 - 1964, I'm a baby baby boomer with approximate 6 more years of life left. My sister and brother are older than I am and in a bit better health, point being --- what comes after the Boomers are all gone? Or rather who? As retirees many will be out of the workforce, except for those like my sister, where retiring is a fate worse than death for her. Other point being, is it really votes either party is after --- ?

The u.s. population is what it is today, because of immigrants. By allowing other people to move here from other countries, it has not only sustained itself, but became the worlds best economy. With the world's Boomer Generation aging out and dying and it isn't just the u.s. that will become affected, but all the countries in the world. Many countries already see the handwriting on the wall. Many who would never even dream of allowing migrants in, are not only allowing it, but they are encouraging them to move to their country, to work and live.

Knowing that replacement level births are down all around the world, I know of one sure fire way of seeing to it that the u.s. ceases to exist -- put a stop to migration. Rival countries are already going past the learning curve on their economic situation with the knowing they are going to dole out a hefty sum of money on their social programs, so as to take care of their aging citizens, in health care and retirement benefits. The u.s. has provided for other countries over the past 150 years, surely they would repay with kind if the u.s. gets in a pickle --- right? Nope --- they wait and they watch.

The face of America is changing, has been for sometime now and soon the u.s. will need to learn what parents failed to teach --- how to share. Japan, China, Russia, Germany, much of Europe are already there; either the u.s. gets with the new competition or the u.s. becomes a historical made mention in a future history book, not yet written.

Keep thinking it is votes the u.s. needs from immigrants and it's already there.

Latinos are opening more small businesses than anyone else in the US

We had a robust economy in the 1950s and 1960s with many fewer people. As I have told you illegal alien sympathizers innumerable times, “Growth for the sake of growth is the ideology of the cancer cell.” Read some Edward Abbey. Our country will become dumber, ill-educated, shorter and browner.

The US could hand pick well educated people to immigrate to the country. Not flood it with destitute people. Current actions only harm US citizens and creates a huge drag on services that could be better used for needy US citizens.
