I just heard about this and cannot believe how racist it is yet it is allowed. When weighing in our minds if something is racist or not we only need to swap the white with black. If there was a memorial or anything somewhere that had special rules that applied to black people when they visited it would be deemed racist and shut down fast.
Here is what they expect from white people that choose to visit the George Floyd memorial spot. It starts with a request to "decenter yourself" ??
It is all so woke and stupid much like how Coca Cola sent out that memo informing their employees how to be less white.
I don't know about you but it seems that whenever I have been to a place where black people congregate they are the ones that are being loud and obnoxious but then again ignorance knows no skin tone and plenty of white people have acted like fools when they should be more respectful.
What do you think? Is it ok for the Floyd memorial to have special instructions for white people on how to act or is it racist?

Any place where a death occurred is deserving of a memorial.
I'm told the old woman who lived in my condo before me died of cancer. That's how her heirs got it and sold it to me. Should there be a memorial to her in my condo?
Billions of people have died over the millennia. If there was a memorial to each and every one, the planet would be so crowded with memorials, simply getting around would become a nightmare.

I wouldn't care, so long as
1: White taxpayers weren't forced to pay for it, and
2: White people weren't forced to visit it.
Unfortunately, whites will pay for it. And many schools, colleges, government agencies, and even places of business, will force whites to visit it on field trips.
"Rules for white people when visiting the FLoyd memorial?"
ARTHUR: Well, on second thought, let's not go to Camelot. It is a silly place. KNIGHTS: Right. Right.
